Door-to-Door Canvassing

Camp Oochigeas does not endorse door to door canvassing.

In March 2007, it was brought to our attention that a fraudulent scam involving young persons collecting donations on behalf of Camp Oochigeas occurred.

Please use caution when approached by unknown fundraisers.

Here’s what you can do:

1. Confirm their identities (Ask for the solicitor’s name and address and ask what event they are raising money for)

   Fundraising for the Sporting Life 10K will take place until May 3, 2009.
