Host a dinner Party
Host a dinner party for friends and family and ask for a donation in return! At your dinner party explain what you’re doing and why Camp Ooch is important to you!
Send emails to friends, family and coworkers
Get the word out! Let your friends, family and co-workers know what you’re doing and give them the opportunity to support you.
Use your talents and sell
Whether it’s making bracelets or cookies, think of a hobby or interest and turn it into a product that can be sold. For example, one special fundraiser sold bookmarks with the proceeds going to Camp Ooch; another fundraiser had the idea of baking and sold cookies to their colleagues.
Double your fundraising by getting your employer involved (corporate matches)
Ask your employer if the Corporate Match Program is something they are interested in. Should you require information from Camp Oochigeas, please contact

Thank your supporters
Ensure you thank your supporters for their donations. Log on to your personal page to do this.
Be clear about what you’re asking from your supporters
Make sure there is a call to action in each of your emails. People like to know what the next steps are for them to support you.
