Tour For Kids: What a Ride!
Thank you all so much for supporting my Tour for Kids ride!
The four days were wet and wonderful. The only day we didn’t have ‘liquid sunshine’ was Saturday. I learned a great deal about the hills of Haliburton, and that four days on a bicycle is just about all that my poor legs can take at this point. I rolled into Bruce’s Mill in Stouffville at about 3pm on Sunday afternoon behind a police escort – in my princess costume! The oncoming traffic had no idea what to make of me!
The final distance I pedaled was 440km, but more important is the total funds raised. With your help, I exceeded my fundraising goal, and reached $2,011 dollars, contributing to over $1.25 million raised for children’s cancer camps in Ontario!
Thank you so much for being a part of this incredible ride. I plan on doing it again next year, so I hope that I can count on your support once more.
All the best,
Executive Director of Camp Ooch
