Door-to-Door Canvassing

It has been brought to our attention that a fraudulent scam involving young persons collecting donations on behalf of Camp Oochigeas occurred in late March.

Without government funding, Camp Oochigeas relies on contributions from our generous supporters and community events that canvass on our behalf at different times during the year.

Please use caution when approached by unknown fundraisers.

Here’s what you can do:

1. Confirm their identities (Ask for the solicitor’s name and address)

Fundraising for the Sporting Life 10K will take place until May 6th, 2007.
Fundraising by The York School will take place until April 20th, 2007.
