This is where kids really belong

Kids with cancer are used to "grown up" experiences. Children more familiar with blood tests and doctor’s appointments are suddenly introduced to a world of sunshine, fresh air, and fun with kids just like them. All activities are adaptive and inclusive so campers of all physical and mental abilities can participate.

As Dr. David Malkin, pediatric oncologist, says, "The amazing thing about Ooch is seeing kids who were in the hospital every day the week before, sick and weak, watching them climbing rock walls, canoeing, laughing — and forgetting why they were in the hospital at all."
