Fun: Sun-up to Sundown!
At Camp Oochigeas, it’s not “What are we going to do today?” but rather “What aren’t we going to do today?”
Here is a typical day in the life of an Ooch camper.
7:30 A.M. Rise & Shine
At Camp Ooch, you’ll actually enjoy getting up early! After all, you’ve got a lot to pack into your day.
7:45 A.M. The Polar Bear Dip
This will wake you up: a quick dip in the lake, first thing in the morning. You don’t have to go, but it sure is an eye-opener!
8:15 A.M. The Flagpole
We gather around the flagpole with your cabin mates and the rest of the camp before every meal.
8:30 A.M. Breakfast
A tasty, healthy breakfast will give you the early-morning energy you need.
9:30 A.M. Water-skiing
You can try wakeboarding, skiing, or even ride on our big banana tube.
10:30 A.M. Rock Climbing
There are 5 different climbs to try, and even a giant cargo net!
11:30 A.M. Yak Boarding
Tie up your lifejacket and board your personal yak board — you’re going to explore the coastline of Camp Ooch!
1:00 P.M. Lunch
Refuel for the afternoon ahead!
2:30 P.M. Drama!
Let the star inside you shine! It’s time to dress up and rehearse for the fun-packed variety show.
3:30 P.M. Arts & Crafts
Paint, design, or sculpt — whatever you decide to do, we guarantee you’ll be leaving with a masterpiece.
4:30 P.M. Electives
The rest of the afternoon is all yours. So what will it be? Frisbee golf? Turtle hunts? Mad science?
6:00 P.M. Dinner
After a hard day of play, there’s nothing like a big plate of liver, rutabagas and brussel sprouts. Kidding! How about a hamburger and fries?
7:30 P.M. Campfire
Sing a few songs, tell a few stories and catch up on what everyone did today.
9:00 P.M. Bedtime
Whew, what a day! Time to dream about all you did, and plan tomorrow!
