Not Oasis

Second City Toronto trained sketch & improv comedy troupe. #FringeTO Patron's Pick & NNNN Critics Pick. Just as the name suggests, they are funny.  A truly talented cast, writing and performing all of their own material to packed houses where and whenever they perform. With recent performances at Toronto's Sketchfest and getting ready for an upcoming performance at Ottawa's Fringe.   Not Oasis is King Chiu, Katherine Fogler, Jennifer Ashleigh Lloyd, Anne McMaster, Chris O’Neill, Nico Rice, and Shohana Sharmin.

Chantel Marostica

Comedian Chantel Marostica, known for their unique brand of high energy physical comedy, brings their jokes to life through a combination of storytelling, song, and impressions.  Having appeared on Just For Laughs, Kevin Hart’s “LOL” Network, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival”, Halifax Comedy Festival, CBC’s “Debaters”, “LOL”, and “Workin’ Moms”, and as creator, founder and host of Canada’s Touring LGBTQ Comedy Showcase “Queer and Present Danger”. Marostica recorded their debut album in March 2018 and is looking forward to the release this summer.

Boom, Baby, Boom

Think of them as Perfectly Aged Comedy!  These Baby Boomers are proud to tell their stories and share experiences through Improvised performance.  They might have seen it all before, but this is a group that you have to see. Heidi Montage
This Assembly ensemble is ready to take Toronto's Longform Improv community on a wave of awesome.  Working on the format know as JTS Brown this Heidi Montage must be, must be. Heidi Montage is Alaric Mckenzie-Boone, Alfred Chow, Alison Haines, Brian Edwards, Charlene Elizabeth, Daniel Beitchman, Hidetaka Ishii, Manny Mangat, Moniquea Marion, Nicolas Melo.

Jack and Marc

Marc Opie and Jack Van are improvisers and two of the funniest guys around, individually and as a team. As a duo, they are the entertaining podcast The Jack And Marc Show.  Their combined forces will amaze and inspire!

Luke Peters

A multi-talented recent graduate of the Radio and Film program at Ryerson University.  An improviser, rapper and talk show host among his producing and creative credits. Luke will be doing a one on one interview with Daniel Beitchman, discussing the book and more.

Mark Bond - Musical Director

Mark Bond is a multiple award-winning pianist, composer, improviser, and teacher who has been composing and improvising music for film, dance, and theatre for over 25 years. Mark has been a musical director with Toronto’s Second City Training Center since 2010 and was the musical director for their Education Company from 2011-2013. Classically trained on the piano, Mark obtained a specialized honours degree in Composition and Improvisation from York University and has since taught hundreds of students across Kingston, Montreal, and Toronto. He has released two independent solo piano albums, one of which won him the Kingston Arts Council’s inaugural “Emerging Artist Award” in 2005.

Camp Oochigeas (Ooch) provides children with and affected by childhood cancer with what they need most – the chance to be kids. Ooch is the only overnight camp in Ontario to offer on-site IV chemotherapy and blood transfusions providing access to campers in active treatment the friendship and fun of Camp. Operating year-round, Ooch offers programs at overnight camp in Muskoka, at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), various other paediatric hospitals, regional cancer centres and at Ooch Downtown in the heart of Toronto. As a registered charity, Ooch relies exclusively on the generous support of fundraisers, individual and corporate donors like you.
